Barys Earn First Playoff Victory

The Jastar Ligasy quarterfinal series between Barys and Sunkar got underway in Astana.

Leonid Shakenov scored Barys' first goal of the 2025/26 playoffs, opening the scoring after capitalizing on strong pressure in the offensive zone. He added his second goal in the third period with an excellent finish from the top of the crease to extend the home team's lead. Svyatoslav Kharchenko sealed the victory with the final goal of the game.

Goaltender Leonid Kravtsov made 24 saves to record a shutout.
