After the match «Barys» - «Kunlun RS» (7:4) a press conference with the participation of the head coaches of the teams was held.

- We certainly managed to start this match. It was noticeable that «Barys» looks somewhat tired after the previous game. It’s always hard to play two matches in a row. And then we let the opponent score the goal, playing in the majority, we shouldn’t have missed. And a team like «Barys» does not need many invitations, and this goal became such a spark that ignited the flame.

- A good start, from the first shift we locked the opponent in the zone and moved a lot, threw, threatened the goal. But for some reason, the puck didn’t come. Probably never recovered from last night’s game. The wrong actions led to mistakes and three goals. Nikita Boyarkin stood in the gate, made some good sessions, and it gave confidence to our team. Shorthanded goal was scored, Egor Petukhov played very well on the cross. The team revived, began to play fast aggressive hockey. Probably, the audience liked the game today, but not the coaches.

- It seemed that they were playing economy mode until 32 minutes, and then they started playing more actively?

- Finished very late yesterday. In the morning, it was clear at the installation that the guys had not fully recovered. Most importantly, we were able to turn our body around, make it work. Well done, everyone.

- Why was Nikita Boyarkin not put in the goal from the first minutes of the match?

- Yoni came and said he was ready to play. In his last matches, he demonstrated his skill and helped the team out. We were sure of him. But the game didn’t go, because some guys didn’t help him block the shots. I guess I should have let him rest.
