In the final match of November, Barys outplayed the championship leader.

Daniil Apalkov, taken the centre spot with Starchenko and Rymarev, along with Alikhan Asetov and Mikhail Rakhmanov, sent to the fourth line, returned to the Astana team. Christian Henkel played his first game in a Barys jersey.

Arkadiy Shestakov opened the scoring midway through the first period with a power play shot from the top. At the start of the second period, Barys once again capitalized on man-advantage. Daniil Apalkov scored the first goal for Astana. Dmitry Silantyev reduced the gap in the middle of the period, but before the break Emil Nurgaliyev upset Magnitogorsk resident for the third time.

In the 43rd minute Alikhan Omirbekov hit the near corner of Metalurg's net. Then Andrei Razin's wards earned a power play, and the Magnitogorsk coaching staff replaced the goalie with a sixth field player. Adil Beketayev took advantage of the situation and sent the puck into an empty net. Nikita Mikhailis summed up the game, but despite that goal, Barys still broke their winning streak.

On 3 December, Galym Mambetaliyev's charges will play with Severstal in Cherepovets.
