During the 2024–2025 KHL season, 16 players from the Barys system made their debuts with the team. We're continuing to introduce fans to the league’s newcomers who took their first steps at this level.
Beibarys Orazov started the season as one of the key players for Snezhniye Barsy, earning a well-deserved spot in the MHL Challenge Cup. He made his KHL debut on September 17, 2024, in an away game against Avtomobilist. Since then—and aside from his time representing Kazakhstan at the World Juniors in Canada—he’s been a steady part of the main roster, appearing in 48 games.
Orazov scored his first KHL goal on March 17 in Novosibirsk. On average, the defenseman logged around 11 minutes of ice time per game and totaled 16 takeaways, 25 blocked shots, and 45 hits.
