UTLC Ice Cup: Barys to Play in the Semifinal

The preliminary stage of the 5th annual international UTLC Ice Cup has wrapped up in Astana.

Avangard, newcomers to the tournament, dominated Group A with two commanding victories and an impressive 23 goals scored, earning the top seed. SKA Army also secured a spot in the semifinals, while GLC will compete for fifth place in the classification round.

In Group B, defending champions Lokomotiv topped the standings, showcasing the tournament’s best defense with only two goals allowed. Barys of Astana also advanced to the semifinals and will face Avangard. Meanwhile, Dinamo Minsk is set to take on GLC in the fifth-place game.
